Get the chance to be screened in front of a live audience!

The French Duck is a film festival in several steps where you get four chances to contest with your short film. Then, you could be selected to participate in our annual main event in the French capital, the sweet and loved Paris.
Once you're selected in one of our four intermediate sessions, you'll be able, if nominated, to advance further as a finalist, an honorable mention or an award winner. At the end of the fourth session, the best of the best (from each intermediate session) will be selected to be screened at the main event and compete for the annual awards.

A valuable festival

We want to discover your high quality short films and promote your work. We also want your award to be valuable. This is why we chose to have 4 intermediate sessions in a year instead of 12 (monthly competition). At the end, the best shorts will be publicly screened at our main event in a cinema in Paris.

Besides, we're trying to satisfy all filmmakers who submit their short films to our festival. Our jury will review your work and selected or not, you'll be receiving a free scorecard from us to get a first idea of how well your film was received by our festival.
